After the above noted event, my machine gives me the message, "Menu Manager Internal Consistency Error".
Upon your suggestion, I tried reindexing from my work station. The results of that were:
Cleaned: Rolodex :casecard table
:card table
:card2 table
:client folders.
Also, there was Error: Reindexing :STAFF database
:SYSTEM database.
I still occasionally experience A1 Law shut down after attaching in rolodex.
What is necessary to try next, Michael?

I would suggest restarting the server and then doing a reindex. This will ensure that all files are closed before doing the reindex.

We turned off and turned on the server. We then reindexed from the server with no error message.

That's okay if you got an error reindexing staff and system since the A1Comm service might be running. Let me know if that resolves the problem otherwise we might have to temporarily stop the A1Comm service and then reindex.
