Case Activity - Unattaching a File?

#1

Post by LMSSC » Fri Mar 22, 2013 11:43 am

Dear Michael,

In Case Activity, is there a way to Unattach a File if you realize you have attached the wrong one?

If not, is there a way to clone JUST all of the Edit-able information (Event, Date, Time, etc.) into a new Case Activity?

Thanks!

Actually the VERY latest version which will be available later tonight will allow you to easily copy/clone a case activity from one case to another via drag and drop. Then just delete the case activity from the wrong case after dragging to the correct case.

Dear Mike,

Thanks for this update.

How exactly does this drag/drop of Case Activity from One Case to another actually work?

Need both Case Activity Screens open and then?

A Step-by-Step explanation would be wonderful.

Thanks again!

1. Open the client card that contains the case activity and document you want to copy (ie: client card #1).
2. Open the case activity for that client card.
3. Open the second client card that you want to copy the case activity and attached document to (ie: client card #2)
4. Drag the case activity button (just to the left of the AZ/ZA sort button) onto the client card #2 case activity blue link that you would normally click on to pull the case activity.
