Hi Mike,
One of the Attorneys (Gregg) is unable to drag emails from outlook onto A1 Law. when he tries to drag it into the empty window, nothing happens. no prompt opens up asking how he would like to attach it. when he drags it to the box, nothing happens. Not sure if its an outlook thing or an A1-law thing. thanks Mike

Start by trying to have him drag the Email to the windows desktop. Does that work? If that works, then try dragging it from the desktop to the case activity note in A1-Law. Does that work? Does he have Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express? If he has Outlook Express then he must first drag to the windows desktop then from there to case activity. Then he can remove it from the desktop by dragging it to the recycle bin.

Hey Mike,
So i tried your suggestion and i am able to drag the email to the desktop and from the desktop to A1-Law, but it used to work the other way. everyone in the office uses microsoft outlook and other computers are still able to drag and drop straight to A1-law. So, Its something specific to this one. At least for now we have a method of attaching the emails to A1-Law, but the attorney would prefer the method of dragging and dropping straight to A1-Law. he is using microsoft outlook 2010. the other computers running microsoft outlook 2010 are able to still drag and drop straight to Law. any other troubleshooting methods we can try?

1. Try doing a Repair/Reinstall on Outlook 2010 on that computer You may do a Repair from the control panel.
2. Try clicking Tools, Miscellaneous, Publish Outlook Email forms.
I'm glad at least at present you have a way to attach Email although it is a few more steps.
