Viewing, ordering tasks

Hi Mike,

We're having trouble changing the order in which tasks appear in the task window. The help file says they're arranged first by the finish by date, then by date added. We don't use the finish by date, and the tasks are for some reason not being ordered by date added. Any ideas why that's happening or how we can fix it?

Ultimately, we'd love to be able to instantly change the ordering of tasks, say by double clicking the appropriate header (just as one can change the order in which emails display in a mail client, e.g. by date received, sender, etc.). Any chance a future release could include this functionality?

Honestly, I can't understand why you would not use the Finish By date because almost everyone does. It's the best way to prioritize tasks and also allows for reports for all tasks due that day or week, etc. The idea is to have a task and know when it needs to be completed by. It appears that it should first order by the Finish By date then by the date entered so you may need to reindex. I'll look into the sort options for clicking the headers.
