A1 EAMS Cover Sheet: Mismatched pushjmp/popjmp. call

#1

Dear Michael,

We are having an issue on one computer with the EAMS Cover Sheet.

Frequently when opening the EAMS Cover Sheet it gives a "Mismatched pushjmp/popjmp. call" error and then kicks you out of A1.

I checked the Event Viewer Application Log and picked up the following info which may be related to the issue:

Type: Warning

Event ID: 61

Description: WMI ADAP was unable to process the PerfDisk performance library due to a time violation in the open function.

Which led me to the following website:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.as ... -US;266416

Any thoughts/ideas/comments?

Thanks a bunch!
Sincerely,

To start - I would try uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat. :)

Dear Michael,

I went ahead and Re-registered A1 - Still getting problems on the one computer intermittently.

Then I went ahead and uninstalled & reinstalled Adobe Reader - No change.

Any other tips/things I can try?

Thanks!

Please provide all the specs for the workstation including:

What Windows OS - if Vista make sure you have at least SP1
Total Memory
Anti-Virus?

Check msconfig to make sure nothing is at the Startup tab that might not be launching on other computers. Click the Services tab and uncheck the displaying of Microsoft Services and see what is starting up and again make sure it's not different.

Has this always been a problem with this workstation or only recently? If recent then what changed?

Does this ONLY HAPPEN with the EAMS Cover sheet or all EAMS forms?

Mike
