Mike:
I was wondering if you will be creating a new field on the injury's tab where we could input the new ADJ, VOC & INT #s...Similar to the WCAB #s field.
We are currently receiving files with ADJ#s and we don't now where to put them in the injuries tab. The WCAB # field only fits so many figures, so we can't include both numbers in the same field.
Please advise, thanks.
EAMS: New board #s(ADJ/VOC/INT)
Re: EAMS: New board #s(ADJ/VOC/INT)
Thanks for asking about this!
Our office found out at the San Bernardino (SB) Boards last Wednesday from Judge Bjelland about their new ADJ #s.
Any new SB cases starting yesterday - Monday, August 25th will be assigned an ADJ #.
Any previous SB cases - as you file new documents - will also be assigned an ADJ #. The cases can be cross-referenced with their SBR #s.
We don't know what annotation (like ADJ) the other boards will be using.
As for placement of the new value: Injuries (tab) - Extended Application for Adjudication - General (tab) - Next to WCAB?
Which would show up as a new value next to the WCAB # on the injuries list?
We need spots for both #s since we would need to cross-reference.
So a Single spot that will be used for the replacement value for each board?
Thanks again!

Re: EAMS: New board #s(ADJ/VOC/INT)
You can do this with the user defined fields on the Injury tab but I'm advising against it as I will be creating fields for these in the next release.
Thanks,
Mike

Re: EAMS: New board #s(ADJ/VOC/INT)
There seems to be some confusion about the new numbers. Are there three of them ADJ, INT and VOC or is it one number with ADJ at the end or DEU or whatever unit it is filed at? Or are the INT and VOC completely different numbers where you need to keep track of several numbers for a specific case? If so, what are these INT and VOC numbers about?
Please advise on this.
Thanks,
Mike

Re: EAMS: New board #s(ADJ/VOC/INT)
The update is now ready to accept all of these numbers (:P)
You may also click the blue link at the Injury screen to toggle between displaying these numbers and case information.
The EAMS update with the new forms will be ready later this week.

Re: EAMS: New board #s(ADJ/VOC/INT)
It now seems that all that is needed is a new "EAMS" number which will be numeric. Then depending on the form that is filed, the ADJ, INT, etc. is prefixed before the EAMS number. This update will be available tonight.
