Outlook Calendar Integration Now Ready
Re: Outlook Calendar Integration Now Ready
All A1-Law appointments in the A1-Law calendar (or whatever appointments you prefer) are transferred to the Outlook calendar (then one may sync their Outlook calendar to their handheld device).
I'm not sure what the problem is.
Thanks,
Mike

The reminder appear in Outlook, but not the actual appt. In other words, once the appt passes, it disappears. This is fine, because we have the A1 calendar.
Re: Outlook Calendar Integration Now Ready
Yes - that default REMINDER for most in Outlook is a real nuisance. To turn that OFF so that all appointments that are synced from A1-Law into Outlook and default it so there is no reminder just go into Outlook and click Tools, Options and then at the first tab (the Preferences tab) UNCHECK the Default Reminder checkbox. By the way - you can set how long you want A1-Law to keep the appointment for in the A1-Law calendar. Click Tools, System, Configure System Defaults, Calendars, Past Days to Save and enter the number of days to save. Therefore, if you enter 365 then it would save all appointment for at least one year, 3650 would be about 10 years, -1 would save everything.

In other words, along with clients, attorneys, doctors, etc. A1-Law could in addition attach case activity and/or tasks to the notes section in with the clients to be exported to the device.

Case activity and tasks are not transferred to the hand held device. A1-Law exports the calendar and/or the rolodex. You can use the Transfer Utility to sync case activity and tasks to your laptop or netbook computer.
