Married - Changing Last Name in A1 System

Dear Michael,

One of our staff wants to use their new married Last Name in A1.

What would be the easiest way to do this and make sure all of her email, tasks, etc. get transferred over properly?

Thanks!

Re: Rolodex Entries - General versus Firm/Corp

P.S. What have you found is the best way for an office to "clean up" their Rolodex?

Thanks x3!

Re: Bug: Case Card - Parties - Name Link

Thanks!

YES - Now sends you to "Find a Name in the Rolodex". Shouldn't it just allow you to change "This Case only" specific things like clicking on the "Type" Link?

Thanks again!

Rolodex Entries - General versus Firm/Corp

Dear Michael, The staff asked me to clarify some Rolodex steps, answer some questions, and ask if some ease-of-use features could be added. To clarify: To A Client's Case Card - If you want to add a person (General) who belongs to a firm (Business). 1. Is the person in the rolodex with the correct b...

Bug: Case Card - Parties - Name Link

Dear Michael, The staff seem to have discovered a bug with the Case Card - Parties (tab) - Name (Link). When you Click on the Name (Link) - It gives you 3 Choices: YES (Changes to this case only) , NO (Changes to Rolodex), and CANCEL. Clicking on YES or NO - Instead of taking you to different places...

Re: Windows 7 64-bit version compatible?

Great to hear!

You may want to add that piece of info to the Information page since most new systems you get are going the 64-bit route nowadays.

Any other programs I should watch out for?

Thanks again!

Windows 7 64-bit version compatible?

Dear Michael, The Introduction lists A1 Law as: "PC Compatible. Supports Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, Vista, Windows 7 or a combination." In regards to Windows 7, does it support both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions? We are looking to make some Operating System Upgrades and wanted to be sure. Th...

Re: A1 Coding - Pulling ALL of a certain Parties List type into a Letter

Thanks Michael! Do you have to have a line of code for each one you are pulling in? Will it "STOP" if there are no more of that type? So If I setup 15 copies and there are only 10... will it pull in just the 10 and not create any additional blank lines... etc.

Thanks again!

Re: A1 Coding - Pulling ALL of a certain Parties List type into a Letter

Any tips on this? Usually the PI department has all of the lien claimants listed in the Parties list so they would want to pull only their names/firm names into the document. Is there some sort of "pull all" code?

Thanks!

Dear Michael,

As a followup to my last post...

Would the code look like this?
