Re: A1-Outlook Messages - Questions
The probem here is the controls did not properly register. You either need to register the controls (back door) or delete the file c:\lawlocal\a1login2.exe or c:\lawlocal\a1login2.ini. The problem may reoccur when controls are registered again or it might then go away. You can also register controls...

Re: Creating a Simplified Case Report
Not at this time unless a "custom report" is created. I'll make a note of this for the next release.

Re: New Server Equipment
I think the disk intensity should not even be close to the maximum throughput of the drives. In fact, I don't think the maximum bandwidth for most networks even come close to the hard drive throughput since most go at 100 mbs or 1 gps. It's really up to you but 7200 or 10K rpm is not going to make t...

Re: New Server Equipment
A1-Law will not be nearly as disk intensive if they are running A1Comm. It should be fine in the environment but I do know some setups with Win 2008 server may give problems but we are not sure yet if that is due to incorrectly configured antivirus software or something else. But, in the few situati...

Re: Word 2010
Do you mean Server 2008 (running A1-Law on the Microsoft 2008 server)? It appears to be but there may be some bugs in 2008 as we are currently researching this. We are not sure if the problems that a few offices are experiencing are with only 2008 or 2008 and certain anti-virus programs. We are stil...

Re: Word 2010
YES - absolutely. But, (laughing out loud here) Word 2010 is not completely compatible with prior versions of Word. Sometimes you may have to load the Word template in 2010 and make minor changes. I have noticed this mostly with letterhead. But, once those changes are made/corrected (if there are an...

Re: common key functions like ctrl + b
The BEST way to accomplish this would be to simply consider integrating A1-Law with your word processor. Check out forms 10628 for Microsoft Word and also form 10607 as a sample Word Perfect letter. The built in word processor has some features but some are difficult to implement. But, the good news...
